H20 is the most fun because it's so Scream-tainted.

Rob Zombie's 2007 one is the most genuinely frightening imo.

The David Gordon Green trilogy is style-over-substance TRASH.

I will never forget as a kid I used to believe Halloween H20 was actually “Halloween H₂O“ and Michael switched from knive to drowning people” LMAO from that day until now this is the only sequel I did not watch

The original Halloween is my all-time favorite movie and, as such, I'd say it's the only great movie in the series. The others range from "really good but flawed" to "never again, thanks."

Halloween III is also very good, though it's a standalone movie

I love Halloween 2 I love that it starts RIGHT where the first left off and how it has this undercurrent of the cops being basically useless. You feel fear for pretty much the entire town because he could be ANYWHERE and YOU'RE NEXT. With that being said, 2 is only a HAIR ahead of 1.

I love the original 2, but I especially love when it gets really bad because they get so bad. I voted for 5 for the Cookie Woman

My favorite is Halloween I but I really liked H20 and II. 

Halloween 2018 and Kills were enjoyable in their own way but they really messed up with Ends.  

Not a big fan of the Jamie Lloyd trilogy but 4 was ok, 5 was meh and I really disliked 6. 

Rob Zombie’s Halloween is still better than Resurrection.

You know what? I'm feeling brave today. Idc if the story is a mess and that the movie makes no sense, Halloween 6 is always the one I'm most excited to get to when I'm rewatching the series. The story might be trash, but the VIBES, atmosphere and chase sequences in that movie are just divine.
