@Robagaga You seem to be pretty tight on the news front, my local news said the same European models that correctly predicted Irma's track have Maria coming right for Florida after hitting the Caribbean. Have you heard anything that lends some credence to that? These storms are exhausting

The waters are insanely warm which is making these storms grow fast and grow strong.

Be careful, there is quite a lot of fearmongering and fake news going on. 

I saw that info aswell on twitter. 

It will almost certainly not go to Florida. It all depends of where hurricane Jose is once Maria pops out of the Caribeean sea. If it is still near the US Coast it will basically drag Maria along and there will most likely be no impact. 

If Jose is gone by then it will open up the area and the possibility of a US strike is higher. Florida is most likely going to be ok since the storm will almost certainly be further up meaning the turn wont be as soon.

However as we have seen with IRMA forecasts can change so stay updated!
