Robagaga 9,345 Posted September 17, 2017 Share Posted September 17, 2017 Hurricane Maria is currently a cat 1 hurricane heading towards the lower Leeward Islands, it is expected to intensify as a cat 2 before impacting Dominica and Guadeloupe. It is then expected to pass through the Irma ravaged Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico and the DR as a cat 3+ hurricane. Us impacts are still too early to predict but are possible. It is also possible it will head out to the sea. The last time this happened was in 1932. @Slayy @RebeldeFaith @MrG1087 I know you live or have family/friends in puerto rico, PREPARE NOW this could be worse than IRMA if it is a direct hit on the island!!! Those islands aren't going to be properly inhabitable for years to come @Robagaga You seem to be pretty tight on the news front, my local news said the same European models that correctly predicted Irma's track have Maria coming right for Florida after hitting the Caribbean.
