Dawson 9,385
It doesn't matter what kind of camera they used, the film is the same regardless of the camera. It's not like digital where different cameras have different maximum resolutions. However, if you want to nitpick about the cameras they used, it's most likely the Arriflex 435. See comparison pics in the spoiler. The 435 is a 35mm film camera. 35mm film is commonly transferred to upwards of 2K or even 4K resolution, so getting 1080p out of it is no problem. That means it is possible for them to release a version of 4K resolution version of Bad Romance, which would be 4x the pixels of a 1080p video But of course this is never going to happen, we will be lucky to even get 720p. A 4K Bad Romance gotta hand it to you, I had no idea about the early Gaga videos, I always just assumed they were filmed on cheap tape. Nice digging up! mantanqin 61
The Best Version I have ever seen is the Canada version with a "VP" logo. (720x576)

Nice digging up! Well, I was kinda interested myself. And this question comes up all the time like you mentioned earlier, so I figured I'd do the research.
