Sexxx 5,623
SO glad that Katy's releasing before Gaga so Applause wouldn't have to worry about Roar outshining it on VMA weekHow embarrassing would it be if Roar couldn't overtake Blurred Lines :toofunny:
The Stranger 4
Roar will definitely overtake Blurred Lines on iTunes. The only reason BL is dominating by so much is because there's no strong competition to replace it with. So this is great news - Katy should be able to weaken BL, and Gaga should put the final nail in its coffin. If Britney is releasing this month as well, though would be even better. She's not a huge threat, but her fanbase is big enough to keep BL from rising back up. This.

Blank Space 0
I cant at how other Britney/Madonna stans aka Gaga's haters supporting Katy by saying rip ARTPOP,more creative than Gagas all career and so on I wish they would die in pain and agone tbh
Nick 29
Selena will do better than DEMI! Her second single already charted higher! ;) As far as I'm concerned both of their eras are over. No way will they be able to withstand the giant wave of new music that's coming this fall. Roar will definitely overtake Blurred Lines on iTunes. Arturo 40,746
Once BOTH Katy's and Gaga's singles are out, the public's money will be directed to buying those two songs. Edited August 2, 2013 by Arturo

Fall usually signals a major transition for music, so I doubt people will STILL be buying that song excessively. It could become a Party Rock Anthem and linger around the charts forever, but I think its domination will end just in time.
