Is Selena Gomez music career low-key over?

This is not a shade or hate thread it's something I am concerned about. Just looking at the facts, she did not land a hit in 3 years and it was not for a lack of trying, she had 4 flops in a row:

Single soon - flop

Love On - flop

Call me when you break up - flop + album that bombed

In the dark- flop

And there is a whole new crop of girls dominating the charts now, is she being left behind to tend to her make-up venture and very occasional acting career?

it's called disney armor - if you're pretty enough and start on disney they will make you release a heavily autotuned album for kids who will buy it. it will buy you a built-in audience for about a decade. the issue is that you then need to sustain that audience, and miley and demi (both arguably much better singers) are already struggling on that front. but i did love her last album.
