Due to the size of the US and our Geographical of not sharing borders with anyone else nearly all our exports and imports are from the US Exports of Oil, Lumber, Automotive parts, Metals, Steel and agricultural products, almost all to the US Imports of Machinery, fruits and vegetables, cars (fully assembled), preto chemicals and services predominentally comes from US as well Canada is probably the only Country in the top 10 largest economies worth over $2T to be so reliant on 1 single Country Canada does still buy more US goods than any other Country in addition to supplying critical stuff too. Normally that still gives us at least some leverage because the US can too take a hit from bad relations... But as I stated above, Trump has the mentality that as long as he can hurt another Country more than they can hurt the US than as far as hes concerned hes "winning". That irrational adversarial attitude makes him very difficult to deal with and very dangerous to stand up to because you know he will absolutely let America take economic damage other Presidents wouldnt just to "win"
