Prime Minister Mark Carney reported asked Primer of Ontario Doug Ford to not run the ad that angered Trump and take it down.

 

The province of Ontario spent $75M on the ad

 

Talks have still not resumed but Mark Carney reportedly has apologized to Trump

Yeah, folks across the board need to recognize that appeasement doesn’t work. Not only does it put you in a weaker stance in terms of negotiation/general power, but it also makes you look spineless to the general public/the electorate.

He did. But considering Trump has such an obsession with Canada (in a bad way) and he is so volatile i guess he wants to try the diplomatic approach but prevent escalation

 

It wont work with him. But i fear neither does elbows up. Nothing works with him hes created a situstion where ur dammed if u do dammed if u dont

 

Also because of his ego and wanting to flex power he does not care if he hurts America with his policies as long as he hurts other Countries more than his own. If Americas Economy takes a 1% hit and other Countries a 2% or 3% hit In his weird twisted mind somehow thats a win even though both sides are in a loose loose situation, Americs just looses "less" due to its sheer economic size and power but a smaller loss is still a loss

 

It just proves it has nothing to do with Making America great again. He genuinely gets some sick kick out of bullying other Countries and making their leaders gravel to him even if America takes some damage as well ij the process

they have no choice, how can they go against him, Canada has been reliant on the US for a lot of things
