JoeCool 1,201
Gaga has said she was a fan https://stallonezone.com/wordpress/2011/05/29/lady-gaga-talking-rocky-again/ https://www.digitalspy.com/music/a320614/lady-gagas-edge-of-glory-inspired-by-rocky/ Her acceptance speech at the Oscars reminded of a speech Rocky gave to his son in Rocky Balboa Plus Anthony Ippolito in I Am Rocky is quite the spitting image of Jo Calderone. imogen2133 821
Yes, she used to reference the Rocky movies all the time in interviews especially during the BTW and ARTPOP eras and she sighted them as some of her favorite movies and said she admired Rocky because of his fighting spirit and the way he got back up after he was knocked down over and over and said it inspired her to be strong and fight for her ideas and her creativity and pushed her through hard days. (This is also why it is referenced in Brooklyn Nights) 1
