Lucas 26,703
I'm not a vocals expert so it's hard to say but one thing that's sure is that she's exploring her voice more than before. On MAYHEM she uses her voice in a lot of different ways and uses different techniques and I find it so cool 2
Taumaturg0 497
1 hour ago, MOT said: I've no professional musical expertise, but I agree 100% with this. To my ear her voice deteriorated through each run in Vegas in 2019, and I don't think you need to be a rocket scientist to work out that that wasn't a great time for her personally. Since then, post-Michael perhaps, there has been steady improvement imo, and everything recently, Jimmy Kimmel, Superbowl, Antidote, SNL, both the albums, they've all been superb. The harshness is slowly being drowned in honey. I don't know if it's the best she's ever been, but it's great at the moment. I would say that certain areas of her voice, particularly her head and upper mix, are better than they have ever been, but that's more of a techncal development that became evident during the 2023724 J&P shows. Hydrangea 6,207
Mayhem really has a range of vocals and vocal styles and she really is serving. There’s a lot of really big belting vocals this time as well which sound divine. I can notice a difference from chromatica for sure. I mean look at that beautiful live performance of happy mistake. The gal is glowing physically and vocally Put your paws all over me
