BUtterfield 8 40,741 Posted September 6 Share Posted September 6 (edited) This is truly one of the worst episodes of drag race ever Spoiler Soa, Pythia, & Nehellenia should’ve been the winning team Gala did not deserve to be up for elimination at all. Vanity was basically wearing a Fashion Nova dress on the runway how she wasn’t in the bottom 2 is beyond me. I tend to give drag race seasons that are heavily criticized the benefit of the doubt, but the production shenanigans for GAS are just too much. Like it’s so obvious the top 4 is gonna be Kween Kong, Alyssa, Pythia, and Kitty. Either those 4 of 3/4 + 1 Queen from a non-English speaking season. Reality 71,872 Posted September 7 Share Posted September 7 Girl...this season has just been getting messier and messier each episode I mean, Alyssa, Kitty, and Kween all ending up on one team? And—to no one's surprise—they're the winning group?? Pythia's group should've won. This just reeks of production favoritism, and this episode couldn't have made it any more obvious. The fact that all the Ru-judged/native English-speaking queens got to go to the back while every other queen was up for elimination felt icky, to be completely honest. At the very least, there should've been a top/safe/bottom team. Because let's be real, even if they wanted Alyssa's team to win, the fact that Pythia, Nehellenia, and Soa were up for elimination at all was crazy. I was rooting for Eva this season, but her bottom placement was justified. I disagreed with her runway critics because I thought she looked great, but she was the worst in the challenge. Gala being in the bottom though...That was insane. She did great in the challenge and her runway was also fantastic; I didn't understand the judges' critics of her look. Like, GAS is really out here playing with these ESL/international girls and it feels, dare I say, disgusting. Gala Varo has gained the most followers. All those gals will tour and have bookings for a long time. i think the fans need to relax a bit and enjoy the show, the girls are truly doing so well and yeah is a produced show we been knew! Semi agreed with the bottom 2... could have put Soa and Alyssa. Also Pythia's look was such a mess, construction looked horrible for me. The fabric? Extremely beautiful, only reason she placed high. Pythia to me deserved to win, she transformed herself and on the runaway she was amazing. I'm sooooooooooo proud of Nehellenia, for a non native english speaker being high on Snatch Game is such an amazing thing! And she looked incredible on the runuway. Kitty was funny, but she just played Kitty. The same goes for Kween Kong... and what was that taco bell joke? she's so unbereable. The Fame Monster 3,784 Posted September 20 Share Posted September 20 It’s pretty obvious that the native English-speaking contestants are running the show this season and seem to be Ru’s favorites. I don’t have a favorite yet, but I really admire Pythia for her design skills and her kind nature. Kitty is hilarious, though she can come off a bit arrogant at times. Kween Kong and Alyssa definitely have charisma and star quality, but they haven’t done anything super groundbreaking yet. I really like Vanity Vain, but she’s letting her insecurities hold her back. That said, I could totally see her winning the roast challenge because she’s hilarious when she believes in herself. At this point, anyone could take the crown, but I feel like it’s going to be one of the native English-speaking girls. BUtterfield 8 40,741 Posted September 20 Share Posted September 20 (edited) So I finally got around to watching episode 6 and um… The outrage is actually bs lmfao lbr Alyssa is never gonna be in the bottom 2 so yeah her runway was **** but honestly she just needed some padding The bottom 3 for me is Nehellenia, Gala, & Soa Gala's outfit was ugly and the padding was weird. Soa's was cute but basic. Nehellenia's lewk was well constructed but the cut was ugly as well. I am gonna say something controversial, I didnt enjoy Kween Kong on her original season and neither on this one so far. Her lipsync style also kinda baffles me honestly.
