I dont see anyone attacking Biden or Obama for believing in God and Devils..

Whether shes weird or not should be invalid to progressives, aslong as she is a sane person with good politics.

Biden and Obama are very vanilla about how they express their religious views. So there’s nothing to write home about, so to speak. Marianne expresses her spiritual beliefs in a more unconventional manner, and it got her labeled as a crackpot. Whether it’s right or wrong is a moot point. How you’re perceived by the public matters a lot in politics. Especially in modern presidential races.

I remember when Bernie was running the first and second time, he had enormous young voters devoted to him, catchy slogan, ideologies that brought hope for real impacting change, yet the DNC would only really throw support behind Hillary… I just feel like they are not giving the general public enough opportunity to give feedback. Instead, they are running numbers based off smaller focus groups and demographics I am sure which can be misleading.

In 2020, when she lost, she just left.  Bernie, Amy, Pete, Kamala, Booker - the rest - got to work and hit the campaign trail and did everything they could to get our side to win.  MW left, because MW only cares about herself.  She wants to SWOOP IN AND STEAL the party because she's unwilling to do the work to help the party.  If she won the nomination (she won't) and everyone else took off, she would lose.

That's not a small detail.

But more importantly, her "platform" is a joke.  It's full of things she can't deliver.

The reason that makes me mad is because it implies that Biden and the others simply don't want these things.  When in fact they are WORKING in a broken system.

MW winning the presidency doesn't suddenly make a president a queen.  She would have no way to force Joe Manchin to do what she wants.

It's called political reality and I will call out people like her all day and encourage those who support her to learn how the system works and what can actually be achieved.

It's like when we were talking about cancelling student debt and everybody wanted to Biden to listen to progressives.  If he had done that, it WOULD have been struck down by the Supreme Court.  Instead, he listened to advisors and took action on what *HE COULD ACTUALLY DELIVER* and *survive a supreme court challenge*.

There is too much on the line to waste time in people like MW who only care about themselves and don't have the experience to deliver.  And candidates like her malign the real candidates to people who don't understand how broke the system is and that a president can't just change it.

And, she's not popular.  check the polls.  She's popular on TikTok.

Wow, what an unserious response.

Did you thought you did something refuting points I didn’t make? Did you think you ate implying I don’t know how government works

Marianne isn’t perfectly ideal, but neither is Biden, and if America had dumb restrictions on who could run for president like how much GOTV effort you put in last time, the presidency would have devolved into a dictatorship years ago.

This rage is so fake lmao. You’re not saving anyone, just coming off as angry confused person with raging narcissism, pessimism and weird defensiveness.

Not putting effort in this reply bc you who cant fathom advisors and progressives being the same person? You’re only here to talk, not here to listen.

So thanks for refuting points I didn’t make, your anti-democracy, baselessly calling MW selfish a zillion times, implying I “don’t know how government works” and pretending this is a deal breaker for normal people, ig.

Ooh, debates, so scary.

How you are perceived is important, but we can also push back against peoples perception and fight to change it. Do you think Trump wasnt perceived as a joke? Republicans did not care, they fought so hard for him they made someone like him the president. Bernie openly said he was a socialist in a country like America, and yet he got alot of support because people fought for him.

Biden and Obama openly talk about their faith in a crazy way, but their religion is more socially accepted.

Well yeah its their job to keep their own interest in power, and Bernie is against them, so why are you shocked that they wont support him? Bernie's job was to do what Trump did and fight for his supporters, but instead he kept apologizing and stepping down because hes scared of Trump. Bernie is a good person, but hes not a good leader.

Not looking to rehash 2016, I am just stating this is what the DNC and RNC do best :ally:

I wouldn’t say Trump won because Republicans fought hard for him. It was honestly more luck than anything else. In his first run he came off as the most genuine candidate during his primaries because his only competition was established hacks. Then in the general election Hillary Clinton was so unpopular that voter turnout dipped, allowing Trump to squeak by in key counties. Sure, he got a big boost in 2020 but he also became so unpopular that he inspired millions to vote against him.

To an extent, Bernie also benefited from Hillary being in the 2016 race because she made other big Dem names not want to run, and her unpopularity inspired millions on the left to look elsewhere. She unintentionally created the perfect environment for someone like Bernie to be heard.

Also, Biden and Obama don’t talk about their faith in any way that raises eyebrows in the US.

I see a lot of delulu going on here

Remember the last time we nominated a president with no previous political experience?

Having a message is real easy. Being able to fundraise, negotiate, work with others is a whole different deal. She’s not a serious person

I don't think I would call her unserious, but I agree with you that she lacks the necessary bargaining power + political infrastructure to win elections + be an effective president.

We have forgotten our public MANNERS

Recently I have been getting a lot of Reels from her on Insta. She seems to be more professional this time.

Do you guys think she should debate Biden or at least get a town hall?

Did you not see the psychotic allegations agains her for bullying and torturing her staffers?
