Should Biden debate Marianne Williamson?

Recently I have been getting a lot of Reels from her on Insta. She seems to be more professional this time.

Do you guys think she should debate Biden or at least get a town hall?

If they want to, then fine. But the push of her on Tik Tok and consequently Instagram reels makes her look really appealing, more you look into Marianne, the more you realize she is kinda psycho. Her past of being a "spiritual leader" that leads into her present of opposing a lot of modern medicine, claiming that "spiritual energy" will fix a lot of our issues and essentially calling depression a hoax doesnt really bode well for how she would govern.

When the incumbent president is running, neither the DNC or RNC have debates.

Perhaps if someone WORKING WITH the DNC was challenging him, it would be a different story. 

But in this case, we have a candidate who SPLIT in 2020 when she lost.  She did no campaigning for DNC candidates, nothing to help us win against Trump.

You don't roll out the red carpet for someone who isn't helping the party.

The point of the primaries is for the DNC to find their best candidate.  It's not like a presidential election, it's a process to find the candidate.  Biden has the support of everyone working with the DNC, doing the actual work.

MW's policies are mostly things she can't deliver.  She prays on people who don't understand how government actually works and thinks that if a President wanted (for example) Medicare for All they could simply implement it if they won.  They can not.  The country can afford it  - but there is NOWHERE near enough votes (in any imaginary fantasy scenario) and the courts are too conservative at the moment.  Just one example.

She's great in a "recovering addict aunt that let's you drink with her underage and teaches you how to gamble" kinda way. I really don't think she's that good in a "could efficiently lead the country" kind of way, but if they want to debate? Sure, fine.

Kinda, not really, depends on how you look at it. People doubted the outreach of his progressive politics, and often applied the crazy old man stereotype against him because of his looks. But he was already a very well-established and liked politician (still has the highest approval of any in the US government) with decades of steadfast civil rights activism under his belt.

"This is not just a fantasy or wishful thinking; I prefer to think of it as a step toward a possibility." - The whole point of manifestation, as the author outlines here, isn't to sit idly and hope that things change, but rather has to do with fostering belief within yourself that change is possible so that it can be pursued. That, I believe, is exactly the way that Marianne understands the relationship between her spiritual beliefs + her praxis.

 

P.S. I say this, by the way, as someone who has absolutely no intention of voting for her.

Marianne wants to fix the roots of the problems not just patch them and kick them down the line. She would be an amazing leader but because she wants to make the super rich pay and spread out the wealth, she'll never make it. We're owned by corporations that love their money so they'll do whatever it takes to keep the same old same old in office.
