Forgetting Amy Schumer, do you think the Barbie movie could have worked in a prior cultural climate? Why is now such the right time? I agree….Greta is such a great writer I don’t think people realize the last movie these two wrote together was Frances Ha…..they’re not a super commercial vibe so I’m curious to see their point of view. Firstly, because of Greta and Noah plus the overall theme of the movie. If they nail the gender roles/ feminist aspect, critics will love it.
