Robo Ga 15,297
The people complaining about this are literally just trying to take the pain they feel from their insecurities and convert into something they can blame others for. News flash, sometimes skinny people feel fat and they don’t like it. Just like sometimes how fat people feel fat and they don’t like it. In todays society it’s pretty much a universal experience no matter what your size is. Fatphobic is a ridiculous thing to call this. 🤖⚡️
Supersonic 49,376
If you are at least a tiny bit media literate you can see that her being skinny but "fat" appearing on the scale is clearly meant as a crass juxtaposition in reference to how unrealistic female beauty standards are and how she experienced scrutiny over her weight and being too "fat" even though she was perfectly fine. How the f*ck do you expect people to find sympathy for your cause and how the f*ck do you expect to build comraderie and solidarity if you air out your unprocessed trauma from existing in this society and bite every person who goes "I agree with you, this actually is kind of f*cked". How the f*ck do you think society is gonna get better if you absolutely refuse to let go of your trauma? I swear radical liberalism is a disease that causes brainrot. TheFame Monster 8,924
This is like telling people that are skinny that their eating disorders and body image issues shouldn’t be taken seriously. As a man who is underweight and continues to struggle with body image issues, I often look in the mirror critiquing my body. And I am in no way projecting my body image issues on others or using it as a baseline to judge others. And there is no indication that Taylor Swift does that to others either

JanStan 574
I’m glad there seems to be a clear consensus that these fat Twitter users (their own description) are idiots at the same time. What a double whammy lol.

badfaith 5,715
That was the funniest and most relatable part of the mv for me As a fat person, does anyone ever want to be fat?? Like does everyone love being fat now? I certainly don't and I would change myself if I was more persistent with what I eat I mean you can be fat and love yourself regardless, but you can also be fat and absolutely hate how you present. In the mv, it's obviously about her OWN body image and her personal thoughts and feelings.
