Explain why not :poot:

Well, let's discuss this a little bit...It's just my opinion, but I'm open to change my mind :bon:

I understand prostitution is the oldest job there is, and that is because it supplies a necessity, which is sex. You're selling yourself for someone to have sex with you.

Now p*rn, on the opposite side, is not supplying any necessity. It's an unnecessary waste of money to create lust on individuals and make people depend on it on the long term. If anything, p*rn interferes with the natural act of sex.

And by p*rn, I'm not talking about erotic films. That's a different topic.

But the actors that do p*rn work...like, there's no going around that :bear: they perform labor in exchange of capital. That's the definition of a job :bear: and capital is earned through the selling of the product so there's obviously a demand for it. We can discuss the reasons for this demand all you want, but it won't change the fact p*rn is a real job, no matter how you see it.

Being nude is not inherently sexual. Masturbating in camera is sexual, showing your boobs is not.

Someone who actually understands nudity doesn’t always equal sex.

By that logic, music is not a necessity so making music is not a real job, neither is movie making, or any form of entertainment. The same goes to so many jobs that aren't "necessary". P*rn provides erotic entertainment for people. Whether you want to consume it or not is your choice. And anything can cause an addiction, be it a movie, a restaurant's food, a game, literally anything. You don't ban something because it might possibly cause a long term dependency for some people.

And p*rn is literally erotic films :poot: among other erotic things ofc

Soft, soothing, and succulent

Ok, that's fair. It's a job.

Maybe what would be up for conversation is the actual pertinence and implications of p*rn on our society.

Maybe an interesting topic for another day :awesome:

Creators will still be allowed to post nude photos and videos, provided they’re consistent with OnlyFans’ policy, the company said Thursday.

So it's still happening

“In order to ensure the long-term sustainability of our platform, and the continue to host an inclusive community of creators and fans, we must evolve our content guidelines,” OnlyFans said.

The way that they think this is going to "ensure long-term sustainability" of their platform is hilarious. This is going to do the exact opposite. The main reason people go on OnlyFans is because of sexually explicit content. This is going to tank their business.
