I think Hedegaard and Brandon Beal asked to remix the song and got sent the demo instead of the final. Could have been any number of errors. So they remixed the demo believing the demo to be the official single. It was only after the single was released followed by their remix a month or so later that we as fans could spot the difference. It also jibes with Paul saying they made so many different versions of this song. Incidentally, have you all heard Paul's new remix of Born This Way for the 10 year anniversary? Which new remix?
