It is the same:

Its just there are some bigger pauses to show that Ally was nervous in the movie, and in the single version they've edited that out. But the vocals and what she sings is the same in both

they're different :bear:

They’re the same. If you watch the behind the scenes they said that had to record the crowds to remove them for the final. One is mixed and mastered to sound more live than the over is isolated to sound studio quality. (I think :ohwell:)

James Gibson

gaga said in her golden globes speech about mixing it 18 times. her voice in the movie version is more 'muffled' cause it needed to be among the live concert vibe while the single is more clear.

they surely chose different takes for each purpose (including the trailer), and i wouldnt doubt one of them is made on studio, specially bradley's part

while there are differences, I don't think any of Gaga's vocals in the single version were recorded in a studio so I wouldn't call it a studio version. The trailer version of Shallow however does sound studio, it could have been what was recorded to play to the studios etc. I just hope we get to hear it in full one day

the soundtrack songs are all studio recorded with added crowd noises and effects....people are confused because Gaga said she sang the songs live during filming because she didn't want the performance aspect of it to look lip-synced....while filming, she did sing along to the tracks in the original key(s)
