I'm watching in Fox News that Amy Coney Barrett is probably next in line and that McConnell / Trump is planning on moving forward with her nomination.

The same bastard who said that March was too late for a President to confirm a judge because it's a Presidential Election will ram through another judge within weeks of an election.

So sad, very sad.  A truly great person and pioneer on the supreme court.......

But, there is no question they will ram through her replacement immediately.  Even if Biden wins, RBG replacement will already be voted on by the current senate.  I don't hold out much hope that 4+ republican senators will balk at Trump's nominees.  If his first nominee is too extreme to get the votes, he will certainly appoint someone next that will get the needed republican votes in the senate.  So there will be a 6-3 conservative advantage very soon in the supreme court.  The main hope is that one of the other slightly less extreme conservatives joins Roberts in refusing to reverse major decisions (ie abortion, gay marriage) due to precedent and the idea they don't want to be associated with reversing such hot button issues.  No question though that there will be no new progressive rulings probably for the next 10+ years.

This is hopefull, but not sure I see 3+ other republican senators going along with her on this idea.  I can see Collins doing it, in hopes of trying to save her skin in her senate race, but not sure of which other republican senators will go along with this.

Whispering

So sad, RIP.

Can’t believe the worst President we ever had is going to have three Supreme Court picks.

If you didn’t vote, or didn’t vote for Hillary, you voted for this sh*t. This will impact our country and human rights for this entire generation.
