I hate to sound like a negative Nancy and i hope I’m wrong but It’s only a matter of time until things get bad again in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.

You're not wrong because this virus isn't going anywhere anytime soon. You can't just go into lockdown for 2 months, lower your cases, and then claim victory. Look at California! Unless you normalize safe behavior and maintain proper measures, you will find yourself back at square one again.

Meanwhile, its death rate remains very low compared to New York (which is exactly what matters).

Thanks, Ron DeSantis!

There’s a lot of proof that the virus does not spread well outdoors. I go to the beach a couple times a week... most people are socially distancing. The odds are low of spread the virus.

That's the important part. We will see if it stays that way.

However, I'm not sure it comparing the death rate with New York is correct, as testing has change so much. We should look at deaths by population.

Some are predicting the second wave will overlap the first wave of illness (which is still happening). So yea, things will continue to get worse pretty much everywhere in the US. We're f*cked for the next year or longer. :koons:
