this is Horrible, all of the people deciding to stay neutral because it "wouldn't affect them" should see this, black peace is the people's  peace

it's cold blooded to put things in this perspective because the kid is innocent (and i hope she's doing well) but her cry will affect the white americans more than the murder of george floyd

These kind of protests, which are supposed to be pacific may I add, should be open to people from all ages and backgrounds. You can't get this treatment even if you're an adult. By criticizing the individual who brought that child, you're actually kind of invalidating your first concern. Also, how do you know that child was there for the protest and not for other things? Even if she wasn't, why should she be peppered only for being there? wtf?

It's right of the people to protest and police officers should be respecting the law and not abusing it

Totally disagree.

At this point, it's clear what the police have been doing (shooting rubber bullets, releasing tear gas, pepper spraying, etc.) with regards to these riots across the country. While the child certainly should be able to protest peacefully, the probability of something like this happening right now given proliferated info is too high for me to understand why a parent or guardian would rationally choose to bring a child to one of these riots.

And no one is arguing that the child should be "peppered for only being there".  That's simply ridiculous.

Yeah, that's ridiculous. But my point is that that child should be safe in there. It's not their fault nor their caretaker's fault a hateful cop did that. Sorry but you can't disagree with both.
