Literaly a perfect song. A SMASH. When Ariana Grande vocals came in I could not stand it. Like, it better be a #1 for weeks. Rain On Me goes perfectly before my fav ari song, No Tears Left To Cry ! Feelin the pain, crying and dancin, then celebratin. Perfect song duo

i prefer SL, mainly bc of the “all i ever wanted was love”....that was stuck in my head for weeks after my first listen

That prec-chorus had me so hyped... and then there was no actual chorus :sis:

Despite the dance break feeling a little bit underwhelming but still catchy, everything else is perfect especially the vocals and that beautiful chorus. A BOP.

Stupid Love sweetie i'm so sorry

I mean, I think we should wait to see how it ages before calling it one of her best, but it's for sure a BOP.

I love it. It's a refreshment on her discography. Much better than Stupid Love (that feels like many steps back). The pre-chorus is my favourite part. NOW I'm hyped for the album. Thank God it's coming in a week. Some people are saying she lost her touch... Like, I really don't know what those people want from her. Rain On Me is Future Nostalgia (the album) quality and  I bet a lot of people that think this song is boring loves FN. ROM also meets Ariana's quality songs. Gaga has some fans that became haters cause they love her The Fame persona and just can't let it go. ROM is that quality dance pop song I was expecting from her after Shallow and ARUTW. It is loose, not pretensious at all.

It is one of Gaga’s best songs to date and probably will be the most impactful pop single she releases in a long time. Like YEARS.

I love her voice change in the end, it reminded me Dance In The Dark’s “find your freedom in the music, find your Jesus, find your Kubrick” part for a reason.

I’m so excited about what comes next. This is a really good song to restart the era and Ariana has credit too, she served!

What you’re considering as the pre-chorus is actually the chorus tho.

to everyone saying ROM sounds flat. Compared to the production of Future Nostalgia ROM sounds really pure imo and makes me very emotional (I still love FN)

Every Gaga song has entered the chat lol I like song but I don’t love it. I’ve made up my mind I think that I do not like Bloodpop as a producer. This song is super noisy for me and sounds like a remix. I think the demo that leaked was interesting. Hoping the video makes me love the song more. Also why did it take 7 people to write such basic lyrics :neyde:

I totally agree, i think she needs to stop working with bloodpop his productions is basic as hell.

One of her best songs, maybe for some people, not for me..but then again I always loved her softer side more, aka songs like: you and I, The queen, the edge of glory, hey girl, etc
