Marlin Stutzman and his family are awful. I worked for them at their "theatre" after Covid. At first, it wasn't horrible, but then the contract breaches, pay cuts and all-around slimyness began. We were once invited to his home for a party, and I saw what can only be described as a mini shrine to Israel and Netenyahu in their basement. Pictures of them with Netenyahu, and Israeli and American flag and some momentoes all laid out on a table and the wall behind. It was weird.

Unless suddenly everyone gets very cool very fast and we somehow have a complete overhaul of the legislative, judicial, and executive branch in the midterms on top of the next general election?

Everyone involved beyond maybe one or two scapegoats will get pardoned by trump/vance on their way out and the next administration will "move on with grace" to avoid the accusations of lawfare against the opposing party because, in reality, much of this is fine on both sides of the establishment.

True, but they are trying to make it so that they can no longer be held accountable or reverse the relationship. By tying the relationship directly to the pentagon, Congress would no longer have the political leverage to withhold funding. It would be framed as “defunding the pentagon.”
