Ryan Gosling Joins MCU, Announced As Ghost Rider

A new Ghost Rider just rode into town.

Ryan Gosling will play supernatural horror hero Johnny Blaze, aka Ghost Rider, in a new big-screen incarnation of the Marvel character that will be directed by Deadpool & Wolverine‘s Shawn Levy

The announcement was met with pandemonium when it was made Saturday during Marvel Studio’s Hall H presentation at San Diego Comic-Con.

I'm so f*cking excited that Ghost Rider's finally gonna come into the MCU. Gosling's a good pick too.

Idk how I feel about Shawn Levy directing, though. I wasn't a big fan of Deadpool & Wolverine, and I don't think he's a unique or interesting enough director to make Ghost Rider feel special.

I do think she'll end up on Doom's side, which kind of annoys me  After MoM, I need her to have some proper character development. It'll feel like another regression if she's villainous again.

I think it's definitely possible. Though, I'm expecting the "big cameos" to be Agatha + Wiccan, which I'd be more than happy with.
