I was surprised to know that the song performed bad in mainland Europe and many other parts of the world, like I used to think the song and video were among the best-known ever but that only applies to the US and some other countries.

It was too rnb and not even like ashanti or jlo. It was really urban music, that kinda thing is never popular in europe besides uk.

Baby boy was good for europe. The same for deja vu and then unforgeatable

I think it depends on where you're from. Where I'm from everyone knows Singe Ladies, it's the first song people think about when someone says 'Beyoncé', that and Run The World.

Agreed. I'd say depending upon that it's a toss up between Single Ladies and Crazy in Love (in terms of largest group knowing a song) followed by Halo and Run the World.

Same, Crazy In Love is also very well known here, but people will immediately say Single Ladies.

Bloody hooker

I think both Crazy In Love and Single Ladies are her signature songs.

This mutual gaze was a “longing to touch” or a "pre-coitus" stare.

To my understanding, single ladies wasn’t released worldwide if I were a boy was the worldwide single.

Depends on the audience i guess.

Black People will say Single Ladies because it involves booty popping and stuff.

White people will say Halo.

White straight guys will say Crazy in love.

Gays will say Partition/bow down bitches.

Even on this fan base racial stereotyping still exist
