Last I read, The Fame/Fame Monster and ARTPOP are considered concept albums. I could be wrong, but the first two definitely are. I guess Chromatica will be the most FULLY REALISED and OBVIOUS concept album from her..

i can see a central narrative going on with TFM (the 8 different fears coming together to describe different facets of fame and the experience of its downside). A lot of the songs on the TF seem to be really random and do not necessarily pertain to the concept of fame imo (i.e. I like it rough, again again, summerboy, eh eh, etc.) And ARTPOP's themes were kind of a convoluted mess; Gaga had a theme in mind but it was obviously not consistent throughout the tracklist. But with Chromatica, there seems to be a clear direction with the story of this universe that Gaga is crafting, which is why i'm really excited about it.

I haven't been this hyped for Gaga's music since ARTPOP, Chromatica is a full on CONCEPT :cryga:

Joanne is a concept album too. Joanne is Anti-Gaga: Gaga is glam, Joanne is country, Gaga is New York, Joanne is Malibu, etc.

Creative peak is a reach. Especially after hearing SL and that music video.

However, I’m excited for the album and I’m sure she’s going to serve us something legendary.

All she did was put some pink **** on her face. How's that creative?

you're right. it's about as creative as releasing a B-sides album of your B-sides album 3 years later and giving it a very creative name :billie:

I can’t at y’all dismissing Joanne and ASIB as noncreative...

I mean, sure, they were albums that looked to the past for inspiration. But they had some very poignant things to say about the modern world. And visually we got some killer Amerikan Gothik looks. I feel like Gaga was almost portraying a ghost during the Joanne era.
