I am actually on the minority within the fan base when it comes to The Fame. I think is Gaga’s second best album. I actually think her best projects are The Fame and The Fame Monster.

Yes You're absolutely right, I feel like they're ignoring them.

Some will prefer the boredom that comes with liking other artist, but next time if you want to get me, tag me...

But I digress. Her most creative project is yet to come. Conceptually, ARTPOP is. However, she borrowed many of the beats from other artists and didn't have full creative control.

The Fame/Monster & Born This Way are on par with creativity, there are many genres that blend into one another on the later. But, for an album thats 17 tracks long, only half of it is good.

Joanne is meh interms of being a creative project... ASIB is more creative cause its for another artist essentially.

BUT (and I think LG6 will prove this) her most creative project is yet to come

They said MOST CREATIVE. What exactly is so creative in Joanne that outweighs the creativity on ARTPOP? 😂😂

ARTPOP remains her best album 🙌🏼

Concept wise for me the most creative ones could be The Fame, The Fame Monster and ARTPOP

Lyric wise, Joanne

Musically, Born This Way and The Fame

And visually, for me all, because they’re all different concepts and Gaga usually approaches visual creativity really well

Joanne is original unlike ARTPOP that gives you headache sometimes and some songs lyrics are embarassing :huntyga:

BTW

It has a running theme of religion meets dark pop and rock. The album goes from Marry the Night to Government Hooker, Bloody Mary, Scheisse, Electric Chapel, You and I, to Edge of Glory. These are all very different songs but they still fit under this image of dark religion free yourself pop

The music videos were gorgeous. Yes, even TEOG especially after watching Joanne :ohwell:

Also the live performances were amazing from BTW to Judas, TEOG, Hair, MTN, Scheisse and let's not forget the sick Heavy Metal Lover live.

ARTPOP was a lost cause, it opened with huge imagery from Applause' video, performances, and her activism towards working with artists. But fell after that when Venus the orgasmic song didn't get a video and everything else just didn't work. Song writing wise it was all EDM and recycled themes we all heard before.

Cause once you let it go you better know it's gone

ARTPOP conceptually is really interesting with the reversal of warhol - she seemed so confident and passionate about the idea and I think executed it really well with the Venus character, Fashion Culture + the Koons Ball. Imo musically my opinion kind of differs....

ARTPOP's underperformance is attributed to more things. Venus would be a horrible single lmao.
