Pretty much all pop stans and the GP will unanimously agree that Gaga is a great vocalist, but I never see anyone acknowledging her dance skills. When people talk about pop stars that can dance, they invariably mention Beyonce (good but overrated), Shakira (well-deserved), J-Lo (also well-deserved), and 1999-2004 Britney (no shade, Britney is the only other person I stan for, but I’m not blind as to her current dancing ability). But anyway, overwhelmingly, people currently bemoan the lack of live vocalists who also dance well. Why is Gaga always overlooked? On top of always maintaining a natural rhythm and executing good, oft impressive technical choreo whilst singing 100% live (and wearing ridiculous heels), she’s actually had some GREAT dance moments (even won VMA for Best Choreography for “Bad Romance.”) For reference: Any thoughts? Videos can be shoot many times until you get the best results and can be edited, so they are not a good reference.. In videos they film multiple takes and pick the best one obviously And other than that she is just a good enough dancer. Not too bad and not on Beyonce level. I heard that others said she cant dance and you know what? Thats good for her. She does this akward crazy dance that looks wierd but it fits to her music,. So its entertaining to watch. She can perform and the moves fits the music so for now this is was always perfect. I dont want gaga to do exhausting cool looking dance moves or ballet n stuff. I want her to continue to dance like nobody is in the room or do stuff that looks abnormal. Because I can relate to that. Are you sure they pick the great picks for the video because if you notice Beyonce messed up on some choreo in Telephone and I was like "The only choreo Gaga is better than Beyonce"..... Well, doesn't she have the reputation of being one of the best pop stars out there capable of singing and dancing at the same time? Do you know Dylan Will Not Participate? He was reacting to Judas the mv and he said that she's a great dancer for dancing in heels, the same with Marry The Night because Gaga was the only one dancing in heels in the mv.
