Your views are determined by what you've been reading on this fan site. The number of members of this site doesn't come close to the entire population. The whole Express Yourself controversy wasn't as big as you thought it was and Madonna singing Born This Way at her rehearsals hasn't caused as much of a stir in the media as you make it out to. Most of the people I know are skeptical towards her image and persona. People who were into her back in 2009 that I know, now distrust her and think she's fake. I love to read reactions and comments to news about Gaga on German news sites and I realised something: A few months ago people on there would say "Gaga's just a copy cat, she needs to stay away from music, Madonna's the real queen" But the reaction to Madonna singing Born This Way really surprised me. There was just one comment that was against Gaga. Allt he others were like: "Madonna is a bitter lady, she's too old, Lady Gaga is on top now & Madonna should accept that". I feel like Gaga's strategy to make people want her again really seems to work. Even the Indonesia thing didn't cause that much hate like I exspected. craig 680 Posted May 29, 2012 Share Posted May 29, 2012 (edited) I've noticed it at another board, where posters take an interest in both Gaga and Madonna. 15 months ago lot of people were pressed about Gaga's success and all her publicity. More recently, I've seen more complains about KatyRihanna being overexposed. And the reaction to this Madonna era has been quite negative, I get the feeling more people are siding with Gaga.
