The people AND elected officials. Literally the only good thing about living here are the opportunities and standard of living. Republicans can get away with boasting about grabbing a woman's *** and assaulting reporters. The hypocrisy coming from people who are in majority CHRISTIANS. What the hell is wrong with people? How blind can they be? It is so ****ing frustrating how stupid people are in this country. My God there truly is no decency left! It is borderline embarrassing being American these days. They think of themselves as Christians because they're anti-abortion and because they go to church, but their political beliefs don't align with their chosen religion. They claim that they are Republican because they're Christian, when really, it's the other way around: they're Republican at their core, and they claim to be Christian because Republicans promote themselves as the "Christian party." I live in the Bible Belt. I can't tell you how many people I know who are in church every time the door is open and go on and on about their religious beliefs, but also utterly hate anyone who isn't a white conservative with money and will adamantly defend people like Trump who are the ultimate antithesis of Christianity. Conservatives love to use the argument that "liberals hate America" when really, it seems the conservatives are the ones who really hate America since they fight progress and seem to hate a significant portion of the people who live here.
