Reese Witherspoon won the Oscar for her performance as June Carter Cash in Walk The Line. Sissy Spacek won the Oscar for portraying Loretta Lynn in Coal Miner's Daughter. Gwyneth Paltrow was nominated for the song "Country Strong" which she sang in a film about country music. Dolly Parton was nominated for two Oscars. Tons of country musicians have been nominated over the years in the Best Original Song category. This film in particular should be quite dramatic and showcase all of her acting skills that she's garnered from past projects! I'm really curious to see though if the film will be a small film in select theatres only, or if it will become well known to the public like some other films that Bradley has starred in. Yeah that's what I was wondering Will this film be treated like a full on blockbuster Hollywood film, or a smaller indie project. At first I was expecting a small indie film, but when rumours were going around that it was set in the present day and they were filming at Coachella I realised that maybe it could be something more. Then I remembered films like Silver Linings Playbook, American Hustle and Joy which were all indie films that did really well and became well known by the public. Should be interesting to see what happens! I can't imagine Gaga starring in a film that plays in our large mainstream cinemas! I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin. I don't think the film will be on a large budget so it could be smaller in that's sense, but I do have a strong feeling it'll be played at festivals first and then get an extended release at more theaters similar to the movies you mentioned above.
