Chart Discussion: Million Reasons / Joanne

I don't get why pressed stans wants her to abandon MR when it's crystal clear the public is here for it. What's the point of releasing a song radio will be willing to play for only a short while until it drops because the public doesn't like it? We know they love MR.

Because the radios aren't? Im just playing devil's advocate here because I can see why either side would think theirs is the right decision--VSFS, Carpool, SNL, AMAs, MR had good promo and sales reflect preference for it but not strong enough to actually break through. She can only perform the same song with different arrangements/visuals for different promo spots so much and radio isn't responding. Maybe, just maybe, they just don't like a ballad from her?

Radios have played You and I though... I see your point but abandoning a single that the GP likes just to risk a 3rd single that may sink is not a good strategy. We have the SB don't forget that, MR can have a huge push and buzz that can have radios spin it. Of course they may still abandon it but it definitely has more chances than a new song...

If they are going to lunch a 3rd single at the Super Bowl, they are definitely the worst team ever. Even a 3 years sold child would understand that a new single wouldn't go anywhere. If radios didn't spin MR, how can they expect that radios would spin a 3rd single?

maybe they are mature enough to know that no single is going anywhere, so they decided to move on real quick and release as many singles the fvck they care about radio..

I remember that before the era I was sure that the lead would get easily 1 billion views.

After 4 months, it's still struggling for 100M :lolly:
