A few things songs from this album gave me the Springsteen vibe. I love my pop music. I miss gaga doing the EDM but this song is my second fav. The first time I heard it I was dancing in the kitchen. I can't listen to some songs on the album on the loudest volume because i feel like i'm gonna get a headache lol Apparently she finished the album in 6 months and they rushed a lot of stuff so maybe this is a result of that? Idk I still think this song is a better lead and maybe the separation was the reason why Interscope picked PI over this ethereal bop. I soooo know how you feel. Yeah i think it's a mastering issue and they just did not equalize the tracks to perfection. I bet it's because it was made quickly like you said! I love everything about it. This song seems quite personal and lyrically very strong to me. I thought DIC was going to be my favorite based on the snippets but this and John Wayne are awesome! The Bruce Springsteen vibes are so real and I hope she does this at the Super Bowl.
