You can and it still makes sense. However, the whole concept of the perfume is the dichotomy of fame, alluring (the scent) yet poisonous at the same time (the belladonna). On a superficial level, yes she's waking up from the illusion of fame. But like any duality, there's an interdependence that doesn't exclusively flow in one direction. Makes me miss when gaga would do things like this. I ike that kanye keeps pushing no matter how much bad press he gets. Gaga well and truly lost her nerve from pulling the do want u want video onwards....the biggest mistake of her career was not releasing that video it would have been analysed so much.
