Selena and Ellie's latest singles are flopping hard, too. If we knew the exact answer to why everyone flops, then we would be millionaires.

Well it's not in the album as far as we know, so I don't think it can exactly be called a lead single right?

It's in the Japanese edition :unicorn:

NO did not flop :smh: In what world is #3 underperforming? Sure, it didn't match AATBs success, but no one expected it too. Most artists only have one worldwide smash.

Dangerous Woman sort of under performed, but it wasn't the most radio friendly thing she's ever released in a chart dominated by hip-hop and house music. #10 is still a good chart position, and it's hung around the top 20 for a while now, so I wouldn't call it a flop.

New Romantics was destined to fail. 7th single of a smash album, so most people already have the song and aren't going to buy it again. Also, she did 0 promo and the music video was a tour video. Enough said.

Company sounds like a watered down version of Sorry. Plus, no promo or actual music video.

Rihanna and Drake are both smashing, lets not.

Lemonade is already a massive success, don't try to downplay it lmao.gif

Selena's KEWK doesn't even have a video + no promo...it doesn't even feel like she released it as a single tbh :rip:

i'm not going to lie but sometimes if i find a song i like, ill see if its on youtube and just rip the audio so its for free but idk if everyone else is doing this but i feel if people are thinking like me and not buying the songs or streaming it just by listening to the "free" song on their phones or iTunes then its really hurting the artist/charts!

now i don't do it for every song haha if i really LOVE a song i will purchase it cause i have no problem doing so but if its an okay song, but i like it ill take the route i just stated above!

That's exactly what most people are doing! It's ****ing sad and really takes away from artist of today.

KEWK deserves to flop. An absolutely God awful song. What on Earth was her management thinking to release it when there are far superior songs on the album than that try hard, tired mess :smh:

The Delirium era is a damn mess. Ellie seems to be throwing every track on her album at the wall and seeing what sticks. She's yet to succeed.

Which is why I said "flop" is not the appropriate word for all of these situations in the OP :hor: you know everyone here says everything is a flop, it's just a joke.

Meghan underperformed compared to her previous lead single, Ari... well it depends if you think Judas was a flop or not I guess.

As for Rih and Drake, I did say they were successful.

LEMONADE is my favorite album of the year so far, I only said how we don't know how the singles will fare :wtf:

As for your last statement, that's not what I'm saying at all, the only song I mentioned that even entered the top 5 is NO...

Meghan lastest hits doesn't match her debut, once she goes on the tour there will be some light at the end of her tunnel

No one expected Meghan to have a 10 week number 1 again though :smh:

And Dangerous Woman is more successful than Judas, Judas plummeted from #10 after it's first week, Dangerous Woman has hung around in the top 20 and rose last week, predicted to rise again next week again.

I don't think the industry is dying... A lot of record labels no longer scan their artist platinum.  Because the money is no longer in CDs or the Digital market.

Because of streaming.

And STOP using that "flop" word. It's ridiculous.
