I've been watching AHS since the very first episode when it aired back in 2011. And I feel this season is a mess, too many ideas going on. Stefani, I'm sorry but I hope you will get better at acting. :koons:

I have mixed feelings. I liked a lot of the ideas introduced, but I was about to shut my tv off during the rape scene. I just was very disturbed, and I don't think it was necessary. Other than that I thought it was a great episode, with beautiful cinematography, but I think the gore needs to be toned down, and the story needs to get fleshed out.

I loved it, every scene was perfect. Gaga and Sarah Paulson slayed.

I'm glad they are actually doing something that can be considered "horror" unlike Coven and Freakshow. I think the gore was on point and well deserved after Freakshow. I rather see rivers of blood in one episode than listening to Evan Peters yelling over and over again. Horror is not cute or dramatic... horror is supposed to be horrific.

Why are people jumping to conclusions about how "the whole season will be messy" after seeing 1 out of 13 episodes? I actually loved it, and I think this season started off with potential to be as good as the first two (aka the best two seasons of the show, by far).

I was absolutely blown away. It was weird, disturbing, scary, sensual, provocative, and everything that I expect from AHS. I'm so incredibly excited for this season. Amazing premiere.

It was amazing! Gaga looked flawless, and her acting was on point! Her debut was so glam and campy and omg it was PERFECT<3 Can't wait for next week.

I loved it. :giveup:I was so afraid I'd hate it and end up watching purely for Gaga, but it held my attention the whole way. I liked it far better than Freak Show's opening. I'd put it up there with Murder House's pilot, and I even liked it better than Asylum's.

The Countess/Donavan scenes reminded me of 80s movies with how s-xy, grandiose, and bloody it was, whereas Wes's storyline reminded me of Se7en and the rest of those 90s thrillers. Overall, everything seems really promising (I'm praying for Ryan & the writers not to **** it up).

The orgy was fire. Gaga and Matt already seem to have chemistry. That sequence was so well executed, it's rare that I'd want to watch a scene that bloody again and again, but here I am.

Gaga's delivery during her introduction to Will Drake was stilted and gave me January Jones as Betty Draper teas, but then strangely a few seconds later she was doing fine with the kid. Her acting in the teaser looks good too.

Also the rape scene... Very mixed feelings on that. I don't buy that Ryan had a specific moral compass in mind when creating it. It felt done for comedic effect almost... very triggering in my opinion. It felt like an exploitation... felt unnecessary.

I believe what Ryan was going for in that scene was to capsulize the overall idea of this season. This season is about addictions, and in this case the addiction is a d--g, when the d--g was used, the rape occured, and that's when Sally came out and told Gabriel to tell her he loves her, I think this whole scene is supposed to be a metaphor for how addictions can be completely destructive to an individual (hence the rape) but the individual will continue to follow their addiction because the feel they need it or they enjoy it (when Gabriel tells Sally he loves her, kinda like saying he loves what is happening to him at the moment, because for all he knows Sally is involved with the rape).

Bette Davis

Nothing to do with Gaga, but I'm on the fence still. Idk why but it doesn't yet feel like ahs. I hope and believe that I will be proven wrong ;)

Cold as ice cream, but still as sweet.
