Shadow 6,697
Who knew so much could be of consequence over a satirical cartoon? How many times have Western media outlets have poked fun at other religious figures? Should the adherents of any faith react so violently? Does violence do anything, but expose the hypocrisy and draw hate to other peaceful people who have nothing to do with possible atrocities? Generalizations and discrimination result when a great many people of a sect get judged by the actions of individuals or a few. How is that fair? And these cartoonists do not speak for the Western world or anyone other than those who wrote and published them. I think some serious, sober communication is the only reasonable way this generation can understand one another and avoid collateral damage for anyone on any side of this issue, including those who have nothing to do with it. Can the 21st century give way to reason at some point? Stand in the light, cast your shadow.
