Germany, of all the EU countries, had taken the most advantage of the increased economic integration with other European nations since the single market was launched in January 1993, closely followed by Denmark. http://www.thelocal.de/20140729/germany-benefits-most-from-eu-market It's nice to see the EU being painted in a positive light in economic terms (or maybe I'm just used to British media ). I don't think any of it is Germany's fault though, they've come from a divided country to their current position in only twenty years. That's the result of only admirable political and economic decisions I guess According the telegraph, the UK has been exporting more to outside the EU than inside, surely it's only their fault that they're not taking advantage of a single market?
