A single era isn't very exciting when you don't get performances or you don't hear it much on radio. I'm treating GUY more like an album track that happens to have a video...

this is exactly what I think

Obviously the song won't have longevity with a download day but, at least, we hope that radios will start to pick up the song

I don't understand why Radio Deejay don't pass 'GUY', they always passed Gaga singles, DWUW was still on the top50 a few weeks ago...

Yes, they always played gaga's singles, but not this time, they better start playing it!

Anyway, there's only 1 radio that is playing the song constantly and i'm talking about Radio Kiss Kiss, they always support every single artist, they're so open-minded too!

Acoustic would be a nice change, and she doesn't have to be Norah Jones, not even an Adele :)

Problem is, she'd done the piano ballad schtick so often for non singles, it's no longer fresh or makes a big impression on GP.

Radio might like Gypsy, or maybe not, but I don't think a piano performance will sell it that much.

The GP mostly have no idea about her piano ballads...

she doesn't need successful singles ANYMORE because only her networth is enough to make tons of videos like GUY + her main force is touring and that is the most profittable of all + her label would never leave her because right now she is their biggest female artist and money maker if anything Interscope will 100% support her even if she doesn't score top 40 single anymore ....

Thats what Ive said. She has the money to make the videos, but we shouldnt think that labels will give her so easy 1 - 2 m to make a video next time. Even with tours, they wouldnt sell tickets so easy without some chart succes. She isnt a nostalgia act yet to do things like that. :toofunny:

You shouldnt use the word never anyway. Big artists like Michael Jackson, Janet, Mariah had problems with their labels after some flops and at the moment GUY is her biggest flop and more than that, but I dont want to write some hard words again.

Lets see if the next month will change things. How much GUY sold until now? 50K?

G.U.Y. has a long way to go, as every post-album single. I'm positive and I think it hasn't peaked yet on the Hot 100.
