THIS and since the beginning Gaga played the weirdo which made her interesting for the GP, then later she become performance artist that u would wanna go and see live.

Apart from Katy's #1 can u tell me something that she's more or better than her contemporaries ..... guess not

Yes. The Prismatic tour is easily outselling the ArtRave tour, PRISM is outselling ARTPOP, Katy's getting more youtube views, Katy got nominated for 2 GRAMMYs, Katy has more casual fans, Katy's fanbase isn't declining (like Gaga's), etc. The only thing Gaga is more successful in is Apps.

let's not.

We both know the difference between their prices very well.  And Gaga never did extraordinary with touring in USA anyway.   Forbes praised ARTRAVE not Bangerz neither PRISM and all 3 were mentioned in 1 article..  is Roar better than Applause ?  No.  What does casual fan mean ? Gaga's has 2 tours with 180M and 225M gross, and more album sales than Katy.  This is casual fans.

Well Gaga isn't at her peak right now. Katy is. So unless Prism goes on to sell 4M copies in the US, the tour grosses more than 200M and next year she wins 5 Grammys, we'll be fine

don't follow my instagram (trying out reverse psychology)

I can hate Katy and still buy a few singles of her, but Id never buy her album or go to her concert, does this make me a casual fan ?

But if Gaga's fanbase just keeps declining, if she just keeps getting negative press, and if Gaga just keeps getting older without a hit single, the probability that she'll repeak becomes smaller and smaller.

Ehhm, the difference between their prices aren't that huge. Gaga never did extraordinary in the US, but you guys keep saying that nobody is interested in anything by Katy besides her #1s and that she doesn't have anything else, and I simply said he was wrong, because Katy's doing better in everything right now.

I mean, Katy's already added second dates in lots of cities while it took Gaga over a week to sell out in most of them.

Casual fan is a fan that listens to the music and likes the music, tells their friends about it, buys the album and enjoys the artist.

A hardcore fan is a 'stan' that buys the album, goes to the tour with the priciest tickets, listen to every interview/performance and buys all singles first-week.

I can hate Katy and still buy a few singles of her, but Id never buy her album or go to her concert, does this make me a casual fan ?

No. It doesn't, a casual fan considers him/herself a 'fan' and that simply means liking his/her music.

The amount of casual fans for every artist always fluctuates. That's the reason why they are hardly considered as hardcore ones. If the current sales of their latest albums aren't enough of an indicator, then I guess we all just have to wait for their respective tour receipts once everything is set and done. I find it unfair to compare past achievements with current ones if we're here to determine which has the most number of casual fans as of this moment.

Katy's added second dates are not very significant due to the fact that Katy never does 2nd legs in any of the places she visits. On the contrary, there is a likely chance that Gaga will be doing a second leg in the US. Also, Gaga has more worldwide appeal, and the US is a bit of a harder sell for Gaga. The fact she has sold most out out in a week and she still has 3 months left on sale is a good sign :kisses:

Mess at Applause though..

DWUW will outsell Applause  but they're both flops :noparty:

SALES OF ARTPOP PROMO SINGLES IN EUROPE

VENUS : 45.360

DOPE : 22.414

Venus scalping the other one :applause:

For your information guys, ARTPOP had about 15-20k pre-orders in all of Europe of which 10k from the UK. This means that Venus sold about 25k on itself, while DOPE about 5-7k.

DOPE was performed once, Venus twice in the UK.
