I mean after TFM releasing Applause BTW was at the very least something different and unexpected + risky. If she released Applause seriously I can't think of the reaction of the people, I can't even think of my reaction.. I'd be like "Why are we getting some bad and old demo of Just Dance, after all the greatness that TFM served? " Are you serious? After all of these fresh and innovative productions (bad romance etc) she released a 80's song. You seem to have forgotten what everyone's reaction was when they heard btw for the very first time. Just because the song has an 80s throwback doesn't mean Its production is not Innovative The DJWS synths in the song are more futuristic than half of the songs on ARTPOP... And ok you have the right to think Applause is better song ( I love applause It's great) so there is no point in arguing about these stuff And a lot of people loved BTW ... Their reaction was like that because the song was just unexpected from Gaga..
