What do you not understand about that? Gaga isn't going to be "the story" every time she performs. She hasn't been for a long time now. There is absolutely nothing she can do on stage (especially on ABC during prime time) that would shock people anymore. Maybe she could actually physically cut herself and bleed real blood on the stage for you? Would that be enough for you? You are just building this whole thing up, so you can be 100x more negative about it after it fails to meet your unrealistic expectations, because that is exactly what is going to happen. Katy Perry isn't liked because of her performances but because of her catchy tunes and her "girl next door" image. Lady Gaga is liked because of her crazy outfits and crazy performances. Gaga tried to tone down her image and performances. WRONG DECISION. We already have a Katy Perry. Its not that Gaga can't do it again, its just that its not in her hands Exactly. These are once in a career happenings. They are defining moments. Even legends like MJ had very few of them. It is completely unrealistic to take these career defining moments and expect these types of performances everytime or even several times an era. It's setting yourself up to be miserable the entire era and it is asking way too much from Gaga. There isn't a single performer, living or legend, who can do what some of you fans want Gaga to do. I just can't get disappointed again, Gaga hasn't hyped this performance up at all. If she really was proud of it and thought it was gonna be one of the best performances of her career along VMA 2009, Hair Taratata, Yoü and I SMAP, etc. she would've hyped the **** out of it like she did with VMA 2013. She isn't hyping it all, she just mentioned it when asked about it and because it's probably with R. Kelly on stage I don't expect it to be very theatrical either.
