She didnt even want Born This Way as the first single, and she wanted Scheisse to be a single. And NO Edge of Glory She wanted the single order to be BTW - MTN - Scheiße - TeoG (she said this on LM.com a year ago). Those are by far the 4 most commercial tracks on the album. Everyone wanted it to be a single when it first dropped, and every single NON Gaga Stan I know, it's their favorite on the album. Don't state false facts based on your own taste. I know right? Nicki had that Starships song which was huge. Didnt RedOne do that? As for the intros: Do you listen to music outside of pop?Each and every metal band I know has intros way longer than 30 seconds and that's what makes them interesting. Also, it's the opener to an album. It's not only introducing a song, but a body of work. Let's take a look at Metallica, one of the biggest and most successful metal bands in the world. And the planet breakdown is some of the dumbest lyrics she has ever written. True, but the weird construction, riskyness and production are a step forward rather than backward. That's why no one is buying her album right now No. ARTPOP is a step back, and because it sounds so much like it could fit on The Fame, The Fame Monster or Born This Way people aren't buying it. They're simply not interested in buying the same music but than with more weirdness and a random beat here and there. I bet the Jazz album will see great success.
