Doot 2
what :emo: there goes the chance for her to re-peak commercially and critically. Lmao. The praise for RedOne on Gypsy is unneeded, he co-wrote, NOT PRODUCED, the song. Gaga wrote the song and RedOne probably thought of the 'I'm a gypsy' hook or something else small. Hey now, let's not drag RedOne. We cant all sit here and be mad when she's not successful with singles or something, but she has different producers. RedOne and Gaga made absolutely magic together. What makes absolutely no sense to me is that everyone wants Gaga to be so big and successful and take over the world, yet when her album sales are low, they all sit here complaining on how now they are basically stanning for an Indie artist, yet people drag RedOne for being too commerical? WTF.
Luc 4,775
Not really. I mean, technically, she was critically acclaimed from her COMMERICAL hits in the past. In my own personal opinion, I would say what she should do is make a album, where she specifically rights songs that are SURE FIRE hits commerically, release only those as the singles, and then let the rest of the album be the music that she wants. She is killing two birds with one stone. Like what Born This Way was supposed to be like, with Marry the Night, Born This Way, Judas and The Edge of Glory being the sure hits? (Judas would've smashed if she sang something else than Judas like Lücas or sth like that ugh).
Glomerulus 0
Aura is one of my fav songs and it's far from the mess of btw. The production is cleand and fresh. As a beginning music producer I must say: The over 1 minute long intro on Aura is way too long. A good song should be able to make the listener like the song within the first 10-15 seconds that's important. And the demo version vocals were much better on the verses, the new vocals lack passion and energy and gaga is only half-singing them. I could explain it like: when the beat on the verses is kinda massive, then the vocals MUST be powerful and energic too to make the vocals and the production FIT TOGETHER. Infected mushroom said it the best: It's an artistic compromise now on the verses.

She even said that her single choices and the order was different from what the label wanted. She didnt even want Born This Way as the first single, and she wanted Scheisse to be a single. And NO Edge of Glory

And every single of PFRR from niki became a hit!!! Not to mention all his songs sound so different'n

Songs like Bloody Mary, Government Hooker, Heavy Metal Lover and The Edge of Glory are the songs that showed that she was on the right track and was going to make amazing music for the next album, but no. She has to release an album full with 'mm... well I don't really love this song but I don't hate it either' songs such as Applause and Swine. ARTPOP, Aura and Venus are the kind of songs we're supposed to be getting more on the album.

Each and every metal band I know has intros way longer than 30 seconds and that's what makes them interesting. Also, it's the opener to an album. It's not only introducing a song, but a body of work. It sounds like 3 different songs put together. And the planet breakdown is some of the dumbest lyrics she has ever written.

hausofmike 127
I need to be US citizen and me 18+ anybody else feels like doing it just to write articles praising Gaga and saying things such as "Katy's promo has been some of the biggest promo for a album in history, next to Teenage Dream. Yet her numbers are truly disappointing: Not even 500k worldwide despite her first single selling 550k in the first week in the US alone. ARTPOP, on the other side, did great. With no promo outside of the US and the UK at all, it has outsold PRISM 5:1 first-week in Japan, and outsold it in every major market besides Flopstralia, where she had a huge promotional plan and payola, industry insiders have told us. Because of her Capitol's lost over 15$ million dollars and next to that, industry insiders from Capitol have told us that they're not expecting to gross a lot from Katy's tour despite of the numerous promotional performances and the big single this era has spawned so far." NO. THAT'D BE A HUGE STEP BACK. Gaga needs to evolve! You guys are doing the most, RedOne is the generic **** all over again. She needs DJWS and Fernando Garibay, ha best Which is exactly what the public wants. That's why no one is buying her album right now
Foivos 64
Billboard : When Gaga had her Zeitgeist moment she sold more than a million copies and had a huge album, when Miley Cyrus had her Zeitgeist moment and was everywhere she sold almost 300,000 on par with Katy Perry's Zeitgeist moment type of album That is all I have to say to stop every meltdown
