Remember that TFM opened at number 5 at 174K, and that was WITH the advantage of all those Fame hits. It's increasingly looking like she'll get the top spot this time, so y'all need to stop with the dramatics and build a bridge. Sales in pop music are not what they once were years ago. Yeah, I don't understand these meltdowns at all. Is it disappointing? Kind of. But she annoyed the GP and came back from a 6 month media blackout that was preceded by the mess that was the last part of the BTW era. People need to chill, she is selling like other pop singers. Besides, they are aiming for longevity, not first week sales. And judging by how Applause is doing, it's working. It's also worth mentioning that every one of those albums was sold for the full price. There were no 99 cent "sales" to inflate the numbers. Every single album was sold to someone who cared enough about Gaga to go and buy the record within its first week of release. This is a cause for celebration. Congratulations Gaga.
