I'm not going to lie, I'll be pretty disappointed if ARTPOP doesn't sell more than 350,000 during its first week. But hey, I guess longevity is what matters most. In the meantime, it would be useful to help Gaga by buying several copies of the album (digital+physical). superman 32 Posted November 10, 2013 Share Posted November 10, 2013 well they estimated more for miley and katy and they both ended up selling less.im afraid this will happen with gaga aswell.and with eminem selling 700 000+ his first week gaga may be hard to get that number one the second week. as long as the album sells well the following months its a fine opening week.if it doesnt then hehe we ll see:) the pre orders could me nothing cause gaga has a hardcore fanbase that would pre order the album anyway!its the rest of the population that has to be interrested in order to get high week sales. With around 200K during Applause's debut, this seems pretty accurate. Wouldn't 300K be the largest debut for a female act this year?
