So less than a month on and we're already down to hoping for simply positive updates? I definitely think It will be smart If around middle October (or even earlier) they drop the 2nd single and It need to overshadow Applause.. It's my problem that I am expecting more but for example I'd never expect much from Katy or Rihanna which means that I am expecting a lot from Gaga with a reason .. and the reason is her whole career. Yall know very well that Applause video is not Gaga at her best, neither is the song .. and that is not really a problem.. I think that Interscope are building Gaga's popularity again and people like her again.. that's why I said she is going to need something really big for the 2nd single . I agree that the video and the song isnt her bests. But I think you forget the BTW era videos. Applause is a video that can be played on tv, has a huge replay values, it is commercial, but it is also art and tries to say something more than the usual music video. I dont want you to expect less from Gaga and I totally respect your opinion. ;) All I wanted to say is that this video can affect the chart only positively. The fact that Applause is no 4 and not no 1 has nothing to do with the video, which had great reactions, but with the song, competition and others. It had really great success but a better video would've made a big difference, while with Applause I agree that the video is perfect.. I just want something more from the 2nd single :} for example Judas in my opinion is one of Gaga's best videos and look.. the song wasn't a hit and wasn't played on radio at all and It has so many views.. Your 2nd single talk can wait until gaga announces 2nd single. Gaga can't be blamed for this mess. it reminds me a lot of Britney's singles, most of them were given ****ty spins in the past. she only recovered with Femme Fatale. yeah, praying for second wing then guys, you don't have to be rude to each other, it's just a song.
