BTW had a mammoth launch strategy and still may not have even hit a million if it weren't for the Amazon discount. If she does indeed release a second volume I wouldn't want it out till Summer 2014 at the soonest. Give her time to put out 4 non rushed singles from Vol. 1 Gaga : 750 - 900k Britney : 400 -500k Katy: 300 - 450k Rihanna : 350 - 450k not gonna happen, especially with Gaga and Britney coming that month. I'm happy there's a chance Brit will get one. But she stood up for homophobia and took a stance, so that's very respectable and impressive nonetheless and human rights and more important than sales after all so I don't blame her. That's going to have some effect on the first week. People are going to want to see if it will get discounted at the major stores like Walmart and Target. And kids who like LG will most likely be waiting until Christmas.500k+ is still amazing by any standard, and as long as the album has good longevity through the holiday season (and into 2014), that's what really matters.
