Speaking of all these sales discounts, I wonder if we'd see one in ARTPOP. After all, I remember Gaga once said, as a response to the controversial Amazon deal (which later on forced Billboard to change some of its chart rules), that if she'd have her way, she'd like to offer her digital music for free. And if she / her label does resort to discounts, at least in singles, I believe it'd actually benefit her a lot, chart-wise.

If others could get their #1s with those tactics, I honestly see nothing wrong why she cannot. Let her collect those HOT 100 #1s and add to those 3 she currently has.  :fan:

HECK YES!!! So that I can also shut the mouth of these WIWYD draggers. b5c5f2a9.gif

We're again discussing When I Was Your Discount? :smh:

Our next discussion should be about why MTN flopped then.

I'm so proud of Selena's chart run tbh. I'm really curious to see her album debut week sales

More like 60k - 80k.  8f70c6ea.gif A la Warrior/Lotus 8f70c6ea.gif

I doubt Gaga would want to have her songs discounted for the sake of chart position like these other artists. She would want to discount for less selfish reasons.

Selena Gomez, Slow Down approx #40 on digital chart with 47K sales

I think it's higher than that because that 47K figure wouldn't include those that pre-ordered the album. We learned from Give Me All Your Luvin' that the pre-orders of the album also count toward the digital sales (by Billboard), but aren't reflected on iTunes.

Big radio update today for Crazy Kids. And still rising (slowly) on iTunes. Ke$ha really needs to perform this song somewhere.

80. Ke$ha - Crazy Kids

181. Ke$ha - Crazy Kids (feat. Juicy J)

236. Ke$ha - Crazy Kids (feat. will.i.am)

572. Ke$ha - Crazy Kids

The song is around #40 on iTunes with all versions combined. Seeing as it's rising, I think we can all agree it's already doing better than most expected.
