Klou 2,414
Well yeah :haha: Judging by BTW numbers, yes but even 2.2M is a good number. It did better. Piracy has been at its peak since 2007. Can you imagine how well 21 would sell if its era was back in the 80's-00's? Best selling album of all time that's for sure It would have been a 20+ million seller in the US alone. Jake 0
Well yeah :haha: Judging by BTW numbers, yes but even 2.2M is a good number. It did better. Piracy has been at its peak since 2007. Can you imagine how well 21 would sell if its era was back in the 80's-00's? Best selling album of all time that's for sure I've wondered about this myself. I actually doubt that 21 would have sold that much more. I'm sure it would have increased considerably but not exponentially so. Adele's albums are bought by a large number of older adults who are far less likely to pirate music. I'd like to see Gaga's sales in the 80's-00's. Her music is marketed to age groups that heavily pirate music. I'm sure she could have at least matched Madonna's early numbers.

It's GAGA daily not Bruno daily for god's sake All your posts here about him and it's becoming annoying. :) This is the US Charts discussion and Treasure is an charting song at this moment. What should we post? Gaga's radio updates? :awkney:
PatrickMonster 6,059
It's GAGA daily not Bruno daily for god's sake All your posts here about him and it's becoming annoying. :) I think he can post whatever he wants. Bruno is currently the most successful male artist, so I guess it's normal that we talk about him very often, and follow his newest single's charting. What is actually annoying is that constant Ke$ha talk, when she's not even that relevant anymore. I just ignore these posts, and not complaining about them, you should do the same. 27. Bruno Mars - Treasure 95. Bruno Mars - Treasure Yayyy cant wait for the music video
craig 680
Just posted about new UK chart in that thread. Timberlake's album has fallen all the way to #40 in the UK, Is it doing that bad in the US?

craig 680
21: 25.6M WW (58,6% outside the US) / 10.6M US (41,4%)BTW: 8M WW (72,5% outside the US) / 2.2M US (27.5%)The Fame (combined with TFM): 16M WW (71,9% outside the US) / 4.5M US (28,1%)Just when Gaga was popularizing European type dance music that's popular outside the US, Adele went and pandered to traditional US taste.Likely Adele is hurt less by illegal downloading that average, because more of her buyers don't know how to find music for free on the net. Her lifetime concert earning are still well below Rihanna and Katy.

Vanilla 660
. I feel like your completely twisting the actual story. Katy was going to only release five singles, but after LFN went number one, they decided to throw out a sixth one and see what happens. It wasn't some greedy battle like your making it out to be. Katy herself said that she didn't even care about the record. I think that's a lie. If I was that close to having a record, I would do anything and everything to get it. Rent a rapper, discounts, s-x tape I won't die, but I can't live without you
